Using AlbumStomp
AlbumStomp has Vision Art sizes built-in to the software for horizontal, square, and vertical books.
See next section below for how to design a Panovista book and all covers using AlbumStomp.
Designing a Horizontal, Square or Vertical book
Select Vision Art for the Album Company, then choose your book format and size.
Import photos for the project, design book spreads, export as JPEGs.
Designing a Panovista book
- File > New > Custom
- Enter these specifications (above) for the custom file (Panovista book)
**All of our Panovista books are built on this aspect ratio. Please use these dimensions to ensure that your book will print properly.
Keep in mind that the Panovista book folds calendar style, so the crease will be horizontal, not vertical as shown in the design software. - Click Sugar, it's Album time!
- Import the photos for the project
- Design book as normal
- Export as JPEG files
For All Albums: Do Not Add Sharpening
Once you start your new project in AlbumStomp, click on the AlbumStomp menu, then Preferences.
Un-click the box under Sharpening, so that it will not sharpen images when exporting.
Since our printing process is so crisp already, adding sharpening when exporting from the design software tends to be overkill and results in files that look digitized. If in doubt, email customer service ([email protected]) and ask for a test print before ordering your book.

Design a Deboss Placement File in AlbumStomp

- If adding your logo, import the image of it (make sure it’s black and white, no effects like drop shadows), then place it where you’d like it debossed.
- Delete cover template image, leaving just the white background and black deboss text / design.
- File > Save
- Click Stomp it! Save at maximum resolution, upload along with your spreads when placing the book order.
What If I Need to Change the Book Size or Format After Designing the Spreads?
